Description of residential courses

  • 30 hours of lesson in small groups
  • Arabic is used as working language throughout the day. Italian and/or English will be used as vehicular languages if/when needed
  • Interactive approach to constantly verify the efficacy of the learning process
  • Evening used for approaching relevant issues of Islamic culture through video, films, mini seminars and discussions
  • Program adapted to the profile of participants
  • Costs: tuition fee from 830 to 1.050 Euro according to preferred type of accommodation



4change in cooperation with Sabir is opening two intensive training courses on Arabic language and culture. 

Arabic is becoming more and more a useful language to understand contemporary world. It is a language increasingly necessary for professionals engaged in trade, international cooperation, humanitarian assistance and migration.

With these two training courses 4change and Sabir aim at providing specific skills to professionals and to people interested in knowing an other language and culture for traveling or personal curiosity, and to increase the understanding of a world so central in the international scenario.

Arabic Language Residential Courses

Cristina Rovere and Francesca Bovetti, founders and directors of Sabir, will lead the training. 
Rovere and Bovetti share a common career at “Ca’ Foscari” University in Venice. They have lived and traveled extensively in the Middle East. They currently work between Milano and Trieste and they work together in the fields of Contemporary Arabic Literature, Translation, Islamic Art History, Contemporary Art in the Arab World, Semitic Philology and Arabic Language Education.
