Course information

  • Target group -For individuals with an already good knowledge of Arabic that aim at boosting their speaking and comprehension competence 
  • Goal - The course is geared toward facilitate participants transition from passive reception to the active use of a large amount of words and sentences.
  • Learning objectives - At the end of the training participants will be able to:
    • Participate in advance conversation on contemporary topics e.g. geopolitics, culture, sport, geography. 
    • Apply correctly advanced grammatical rules.
    • Apply lexicon relevant to communication via phone, email and social networks.
    • Understand simple newspaper articles and news broadcast.
    • Interact with proficiency in every day conversation e.g. food shopping, travelling, health care.  
  • Admission requirements - motivation, curiosity, reliability. Precise knowledge of the level B1/B2 grammar themes and vocabulary mastery in basic conversation.
  • Duration - Course will start at 9.00 am of Monday 3 July and will end at lunchtime of Friday 7 July. Minimum 30 training hours
  • Methodology - full immersion with use of Arabic as working language throughout the day. Conversation and tailor-made practices  for the acquisition of new vocabulary and for the reinforcement of basic grammar. Large use of audio-visual material. Efficacy of the learning process will be constantly verified.
  • Evening sessions - late afternoon early evening will be devoted to cultural activities which are comprehensive and embrace a variety of topics, but are also informal and fun.
